Mechanical properties: The mechanical properties of Corten B are characterized by high yield strength and tensile strength, of which the yield strength is not less than 355 MPa (for plates with a thickness of less than or equal to 16 mm) or 345 MPa (for plates with a thickness of 16 mm to 50 mm), the tensile strength is between 470 MPa and 630 MPa, and the elongation is not less than 20%.
Performance characteristics: Good atmospheric corrosion resistance can significantly improve the corrosion resistance of structural parts and extend the service life. It has good comprehensive mechanical properties, such as strength and toughness.
Application areas: Corten B is widely used in economizers, air preheaters, heat exchangers and evaporators in high-sulfur flue gas, and can resist condensation corrosion of sulfur-containing flue gas. It has good resistance to sulfur ion, hydrochloric acid and other acid corrosion. This material is often used in spiral grooved tubes. By using its special inner wall and spiral groove guide, the working medium in the tube can be forced to disturb and improve the heat transfer efficiency.
